Artworks Edwardian Green Collection

Yes, Edwardian Green tiles are an excellent choice for bathrooms and wet zones, combining both style and practicality. These tiles are made from glazed ceramic, which provides a moisture-resistant surface that is ideal for areas exposed to humidity and splashing, such as showers, bath surrounds, and basin splashbacks. The glazed finish also ensures that the tiles are easy to clean and maintain, making them well-suited to everyday use in busy households. The soft, heritage-inspired green glaze brings a sense of calm and sophistication to bathrooms, offering a more refined alternative to stark whites or harsh colour contrasts. When paired with traditional brass or antique-style fixtures, they can help create a beautifully classic look, while their compatibility with minimalist modern elements means they also work well in contemporary schemes. To ensure durability in wet areas, we recommend using a quality waterproof tile adhesive and a mould-resistant grout. With proper installation, Edwardian Green tiles will remain a long-lasting and elegant feature of your bathroom. At Hyperion Tiles, we often recommend this collection to clients looking to blend timeless design with modern performance in their bathroom projects.

Edwardian Green tiles are perfectly suited to kitchens and are often chosen for splashbacks, wall accents, or full-height tiled features thanks to their soft tone and easy-clean surface. The high-gloss glaze provides an elegant finish that repels moisture and grease, making them particularly practical for use behind hobs, sinks, and preparation areas. A quick wipe with a damp cloth and a gentle, pH-neutral cleaner is usually all that's required to keep them looking fresh. From a design perspective, the gentle green glaze introduces a sense of warmth and vintage charm to the space. It pairs beautifully with natural materials like wood, marble and stone, as well as painted or raw cabinetry in creams, navy, charcoal, or even dusty pinks. This colour also complements traditional-style kitchens with shaker cabinets and brass hardware, but it looks equally at home in a modern kitchen where it can be used as a quiet contrast to sleek white or black units. Thanks to the collection’s full range of matching trims and mouldings, you can also achieve a highly polished finish with properly framed splashbacks or tile borders. At Hyperion Tiles, we regularly work with clients to integrate Edwardian Green tiles into kitchen designs that are both functional and visually stunning.

No, Edwardian Green tiles do not require sealing, which makes them a practical and low-maintenance choice for both kitchens and bathrooms. As part of the Original Style Artworks collection, these tiles are made from high-quality glazed ceramic, and the surface glaze acts as a protective layer against moisture, stains, and everyday wear. This glazed surface is non-porous, meaning you won’t need to apply any additional sealants or treatments after installation. For day-to-day care, a soft cloth or sponge and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner will be sufficient to keep the tiles looking their best. We always advise avoiding harsh chemicals or rough scrubbing tools, which can dull the surface over time. In areas with high humidity or frequent water exposure, such as showers or splashbacks, it’s important to pair the tiles with a good quality grout and to ensure proper ventilation in the room. The tiles themselves are very durable and resilient, so any ongoing care is minimal. At Hyperion Tiles, we often suggest Edwardian Green to clients who want a heritage-inspired look with the convenience of modern materials — offering timeless style without the fuss of extensive upkeep.

Edwardian Green is a beautifully versatile colour that lends itself to a variety of design styles and complements a wide range of other finishes and materials. With its soft yet sophisticated tone, it works particularly well with warm metallics such as antique brass, brushed gold or aged copper, all of which enhance the richness of the glaze and bring a sense of depth and refinement to the space. For a more traditional palette, pair Edwardian Green tiles with crisp white or off-white paint, classic sanitaryware and wood finishes in oak or walnut. These combinations create a timeless aesthetic that feels warm and grounded. In more contemporary settings, the green glaze contrasts nicely with matt black fittings, marble worktops or industrial-style shelving, offering a stylish and subtle pop of colour without overpowering the room. If you want to build a more layered palette, Edwardian Green sits beautifully alongside muted greys, deep navy, dusky pink or soft terracotta. This flexibility makes it a popular choice for clients designing both period properties and modern homes. At Hyperion Tiles, we’re always happy to help you visualise how Edwardian Green can integrate with your broader colour scheme and finish selection for a well-balanced and cohesive design.

Yes, the Edwardian Green collection includes a wide range of matching mouldings, trims, and corner pieces, allowing you to create a seamless and highly detailed tiled scheme. These decorative components are finished in the same rich green glaze as the main field tiles, ensuring visual consistency throughout your design. You can use dado rails, cornices, skirting tiles and decorative trims to frame half-height wall installations, cap tiled panels, or complete external and internal corners with a clean and professional finish. These elements are particularly useful in heritage-style bathrooms, cloakrooms or kitchens where you want to recreate the feel of classic panelling or traditional tiled architecture. Even in more modern spaces, trims can add subtle structure and balance to tiled areas. Including these elements in your layout not only improves the aesthetics but also reduces the need for awkward tile cuts or exposed edges. At Hyperion Tiles, we work closely with clients to ensure they select the right mouldings and plan their layout to incorporate trims effectively. This attention to detail ensures that your finished project feels polished, cohesive and in keeping with the timeless character of the Edwardian Green glaze.
