The Small Bevelled Square: Artworks County White Metro Bevelled 75 x 75mm

A neat 75 x 75mm bevelled ceramic square in a soft, creamy white — the Artworks County White Metro Bevelled Tile, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

A small square changes the scale of a room. At 75 x 75mm this tile brings four times the joint density of a standard metro brick, and with a bevel on every edge the result is a finely gridded wall that reads almost as mosaic from across a room.

It is a natural choice for a cloakroom, a shower niche, a splashback behind a range, or a band set between larger tiles. Ten millimetres thick, it carries the same glaze as the rest of the Artworks County White range.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through the glaze — and grout in a soft off-white or warm putty tone, which sits more comfortably with County White's creaminess than a stark brilliant white.
  • Layout: Allow a 2-3mm joint and set out from the centre of the wall so cuts fall evenly at each end. Order around 10% extra for cuts and breakages.
  • Cleaning: The gloss glaze is non-porous and needs no sealing. Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers, which will dull the surface over time.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

How many 75 x 75mm Metro Bevelled tiles are in a box?

Each box holds 8 tiles and covers 0.046m², at 172 tiles per square metre. It is a small square format, so for anything larger than a splashback expect to order several boxes — add roughly 10% to your measured area for cuts.

Where does a small 75 x 75mm bevelled square work best?

The compact square suits a splashback, a shower niche, a bath panel or a border where a full-size tile would feel heavy. Its density of joints and bevels creates far more sparkle per square metre than a larger tile, so it rewards being used somewhere it will be seen close up.

Can Artworks Brilliant White tiles be used in a shower or wet room?

Yes. Artworks is specified for both wet and dry wall areas, so it is at home in a shower enclosure, a wet room or around a bath. The background must be sound, dry and properly tanked, and a flexible waterproof adhesive and grout should be used throughout the wet zone.

Will County White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same County White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and wrapping pieces are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

How much extra should I order for cuts and wastage?

As a guide, add around 10% to your measured area for cuts and breakages, and nearer 15% for a herringbone, diagonal or brick-bond layout. It is also worth keeping a few spare tiles from the same batch in case a repair is ever needed.
