A 152 x 40mm ceramic moulding carrying a twisted rope relief in a soft cream with a cool grey undertone — the Artworks Ivory Rope Moulding, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
The rope motif is one of the most enduring in Victorian and Edwardian decoration, and the relief is what gives this piece its character: the glaze pools very slightly in the recesses of the twist, so the border carries more depth and shade than a flat tile ever could.
On Ivory that shadow falls grey rather than gold, which keeps the ornament crisp instead of mellow. Run it at dado height, above a splashback, or as a frame around a fireplace or mirror.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through the glaze — and grout in a soft off-white or pale stone tone. On a relief profile, keep grout off the face of the moulding and clean up promptly, as it is far harder to remove from the recesses once set.
- Layout: Set the moulding out first and work the field tiles to it, so the line runs true and any cuts fall out of eyeline. Measure the run in linear metres and allow a little extra for corners.
- Cleaning: The gloss glaze is non-porous and needs no sealing. Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers, which will dull the surface over time.

Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
