The Boldest Band: Artworks Vintage White Victoria Moulding 152 x 75mm

A deeply profiled 152 x 75mm ceramic dado moulding in a warm creamy white, giving a tiled wall real architectural authority — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

The Victoria is the most generous of the Artworks dado profiles. Run at waist height across a wall of field tiles, its stepped, sculpted face throws a strong horizontal shadow that anchors a scheme and gives a bathroom the sense of proportion a period room ought to have.

A deep profile is where a warm glaze earns its keep. Vintage White gathers in the recesses of the moulding and thins over the crests, so the relief reads with a soft, mellow shade variation rather than the hard contrast a cold white would give. Matching left and right corners complete the run.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

What is the Victoria moulding used for?

It is a dado-height moulding — a deeply profiled band run horizontally across a tiled wall, either to cap a half-height field of tiles or to divide two different colours or formats. At 75mm deep it is the boldest of the Artworks dado profiles.

How is the Victoria moulding sold, and are corners available?

By the box of 4 pieces, covering 0.6 linear metres at 6.6 pieces per linear metre. Matching left and right external corners are available separately, so a run can be turned around a chimney breast or reveal without cutting into the profile.

Will Vintage White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Vintage White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

What adhesive and grout do you recommend for Artworks ceramic tiles?

Always use a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through a white glaze and dull it. Allow a 2-3mm joint and choose a white grout for a seamless, luminous wall, or a soft grey to draw the eye to the layout.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. Cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom, or we can post one to you for the cost of postage. Seeing the glaze in your own light is the surest way to judge how it will sit against your paint, stone and metalwork.

Installation & Care Tips

Installation & care

Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white flexible tile adhesive and grout to match the field tiles, keeping grout out of the moulded face while it is still wet.
Layout: Set the dado line out first and tile up and down from it, so the moulding sits at a considered height rather than wherever the cuts fall. Count corners before ordering.
Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water, a mild detergent and a soft brush will keep the detail of the profile clean; avoid abrasive pads.
