Product story
A Long, Flat Course
Two hundred and twenty-eight millimetres long, seventy-five deep and flat-faced from edge to edge — the Artworks Ascot Blue Large Brick, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
A brick format with no chamfer on it at all: the glaze runs level right up to a straight edge, so the face stays whole and the joint alone does the dividing. The body is 8mm. A 228 x 75mm brick covers 0.0171m², so a square metre of wall takes 58.5 of them. Boxes hold 15 bricks and cover 0.254m² as supplied; allow 3.9 boxes to the square metre.
Where the bevelled metro breaks each tile into a facet and a flat, this format leaves the surface unbroken — the colour arrives in long horizontal bands and moves across a wall in one piece rather than tile by tile. That makes it a calm choice for a utility room, a boot room or a back hall, where a quiet blue-grey hides a scuff and asks nothing of the room around it. The proportions help too: a 228mm course reads lengthways, so a short stretch of wall between a door and a corner is given length rather than height.

Delivery
In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.
Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.
Additional supplier returns have their own eligibility rules, charges and exclusions. These do not override statutory cancellation rights or rights for faulty goods. See our refund policy and supplier return guidance before arranging a return.

Installation & Care Tips
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix with white flexible adhesive. A warm grey or greige will hold the wall on its grey side, which suits the long horizontal bands this format makes; change to a cool blue-toned grey if you would rather the blue came forward, or match the grout to the glaze if you want no comment at all from the joints. Skip brilliant white, which reads as an interruption rather than a joint. Clear any grout film from the face promptly; gloss shows a dried bloom very clearly.
- Layout: On a length like this, run a third bond rather than a half bond — the smaller offset is more forgiving of any slight bow along the tile. Make sure the wall is true first, and use a levelling system if you have any doubt, because a long flat face shows a lipped joint plainly.
- Cleaning: The gloss glaze is non-porous and needs no sealing. Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers, which will dull the surface over time.
If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact us. We'll get back to you as soon as possible, within 24 hours on weekdays.
