A Soft Curve: Artworks Vintage White Sigma Moulding 152 x 26mm

A slim 152 x 26mm ceramic moulding with a gently curved face, in a warm creamy white — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

The Sigma offers the rounded, continuous edge of a moulding at a fraction of the depth. Where the Victoria or Albert makes a statement, the Sigma simply resolves a wall — capping a half-height field of tiles, or drawing a fine curved line between two areas of tiling.

Its shallow curve catches light along the length rather than casting a hard shadow, which keeps it feeling light in a compact bathroom or cloakroom. In the same warm Vintage White glaze as every other piece in the Artworks range.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible tile adhesive and grout to match the field tiles, keeping the curved face clear while the grout is still workable.
  • Layout: Set the moulding line out before tiling the field so the course beneath it is a full tile. Internal corners are mitred on site.
  • Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water and a mild detergent are all that is needed; avoid abrasive pads, which will dull the curve.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Use the sample option in the buying panel, or call our Ascot team on 01344 620211 for help comparing colour, finish and quantities.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What shape is the Sigma moulding?

A slim, gently curved profile just 26mm deep. It gives a soft, rounded finish to the top of a tiled wall or acts as a fine dividing line between two areas of tiling, offering a lighter alternative to the deeper Albert or Victoria profiles.

How is the Sigma moulding sold?

By the box of 4 pieces, covering 0.6 linear metres at 6.6 pieces per linear metre. Measure the run to be finished, add around 10% for cuts and mitres, then divide by 0.6.

Will Vintage White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Vintage White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

What adhesive and grout do you recommend for Artworks ceramic tiles?

Always use a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through a white glaze and dull it. Allow a 2-3mm joint and choose a white grout for a seamless, luminous wall, or a soft grey to draw the eye to the layout.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. Cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom, or we can post one to you for the cost of postage. Seeing the glaze in your own light is the surest way to judge how it will sit against your paint, stone and metalwork.
