A Restrained Dado Rail: Artworks Ivory Albert Moulding
A stepped 152 x 40mm ceramic moulding in a soft cream with a cool grey undertone — the Artworks Ivory Albert Moulding, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Where the Victoria is emphatic, the Albert is quietly architectural. Its shallow stepped profile gives a wall a clean horizontal break without dominating it, which makes it the more adaptable of the two dado mouldings.
Use it as a dado in a hallway or cloakroom, as a border above a splashback, or as the transition between two tile colours. Dedicated corner pieces are not stocked in Ivory, but the profile is shallow and mitres cleanly on site.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through the glaze — and grout in a soft off-white or pale stone tone. On a relief profile, keep grout off the face of the moulding and clean up promptly, as it is far harder to remove from the recesses once set.
- Layout: Set the moulding out first and work the field tiles to it, so the line runs true and any cuts fall out of eyeline. Measure the run in linear metres and allow extra for mitred corners.
- Cleaning: The gloss glaze is non-porous and needs no sealing. Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers, which will dull the surface over time.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
