In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What creates the colour in White Smoked Oak?

It is a two-step process. First, the timber is "smoked" (exposed to ammonia in a sealed chamber), which reacts with the natural tannins in the oak to darken it from within, creating grey/brown undertones. Then, a white stain is applied to the surface. This results in a complex, multi-tonal floor that has far more depth than a simple painted finish.

Is herringbone flooring difficult to install?

Herringbone installation requires more skill and time than standard plank flooring because the pattern must be perfectly aligned. We strongly recommend using a professional fitter. Goodrich blocks use a tongue and groove system, allowing them to be glued down or floated.

Can I use this floor in a kitchen?

Yes. The matt lacquer finish provides excellent protection against spills and stains. However, as with all real wood, spills should be wiped up promptly, and steam mops should never be used.

Does this match any plank flooring?

Yes! Goodrich White Smoked Oak is the herringbone partner to Harlech White Smoked Oak. You can use Harlech planks in your main living areas and transition into Goodrich herringbone for a feature hallway or dining room for a stunning design flow.

⚠️ Professional Installation Tips

Fitting Method: Being a parquet block with T&G joints, this floor offers versatility. It can be fully bonded (glued) to the subfloor or installed as a floating floor using a high-quality underlay.
Underfloor Heating: Fully compatible with water-based UFH systems. For best efficiency and stability with UFH, we recommend the full glue-down method.
Natural Variation: This floor is smoked. Always mix planks from multiple packs during installation to ensure a balanced spread of the lighter and darker ashen tones.
