In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

What are "Sawn Marks"?

Sawn marks are horizontal cuts or indentations left across the face of the plank, mimicking the effect of a band saw used in traditional timber milling. On Goodrich Salted Oak, these marks are intentional, adding a rugged, tactile texture that you can feel underfoot.

Is Salted Oak grey or white?

It is primarily a contemporary cool grey, but the "salted" name comes from the white glaze that is applied over the top. This white pigment settles into the saw marks and wood grain, creating a striking contrast that lightens the overall appearance.

Is it harder to clean due to the texture?

The texture is deeper than a standard brushed floor, but because it is sealed with a durable matt lacquer, it is still easy to maintain. Regular vacuuming (with a brush attachment) will remove dust from the grooves, and a damp mop will handle spills.

What is the difference between Salted Oak and Feather Oak?

Feather Oak is a softer, smoother grey with a standard brushed finish. Salted Oak is more rugged, featuring the distinctive sawn marks and a higher contrast between the grey wood and white grain details.

Installation & Care Tips

⚠️ Professional Installation Tips

Fitting Method: Goodrich blocks feature T&G joints. While they can be floated, we strongly recommend a full surface bond (glue-down) installation for the most solid feel and to minimise movement.
Underfloor Heating: This floor is compatible with UFH systems. A full glue-down installation is required to ensure efficient heat transfer and board stability.
Acclimatisation: Store packs in the room of installation for 48-72 hours prior to fitting to allow the natural wood to adapt to the humidity.
