Goodrich Feather Oak is the definition of understated luxury. Unlike the sharp angles of chevron, these rectangular blocks are laid in a classic zig-zag herringbone pattern, creating a woven effect that adds texture and depth to any room. The oak is treated with a delicate "Feather" stain—a pale, washed grey that highlights the natural grain without overpowering the space. Brushed to enhance the tactile feel of the wood and sealed with a durable matt lacquer, this floor offers a sophisticated, low-sheen surface that is practical for modern living. With a robust 4mm real oak wear layer, it promises a lifetime of beauty and stability.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

What is the difference between this and the Chevron version?

This Herringbone floor uses rectangular blocks that meet at 90-degree angles in a zig-zag pattern. The Chevron version uses blocks cut at 45-degree angles to create a continuous "V" or arrow shape. Herringbone is often seen as more traditional and woven, while Chevron is sharper and more geometric.

Is the grey finish difficult to match with furniture?

Not at all. The "Feather" grey is a neutral, cool tone that works exceptionally well with white, navy, charcoal, and even pastel interiors. It acts as a calm canvas that allows your furniture to stand out.

⚠️ Professional Installation Tips

Fitting Method: Goodrich blocks feature T&G joints. While they can be floated over a high-density underlay, we highly recommend a full surface bond (glue-down) installation for the most solid feel and acoustic reduction.
Underfloor Heating: This floor is perfectly suited for water-based UFH. A glue-down installation is required to ensure optimal heat transfer and board stability.
Acclimatisation: Store packs in the room of installation for 48-72 hours before fitting to adapt to humidity levels.
