Driftwood Dreams: Weymouth Shorewood Oak

Bring the relaxed, sun-drenched vibe of the coast into your home with Weymouth Shorewood Oak—a waterproof floor that captures the weathered charm of natural driftwood.

Part of the premium Weymouth collection, Shorewood Oak is designed for those who love a rugged, natural aesthetic. The plank features a complex palette of bleached beige, soft greys, and warm sandy browns, mimicking timber worn by sun, sea, and salt. Authentic saw-mark detailing adds to the rustic narrative. Crafted with a rigid Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) core, it is 100% waterproof, dent-resistant, and incredibly stable—perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, and busy living spaces.

Installation & care

⚠️ Installation & Benefits

  • 100% Waterproof: The mineral-resin core creates a seal that water cannot penetrate, making it ideal for bathrooms, utility rooms, and busy entranceways.
  • Built-In Underlay: Each plank comes with a high-performance underlay attached to the back. Do not use extra underlay, as this can damage the locking system (unless using a simple moisture barrier on concrete).
  • Easiloc Joint: The DIY-friendly click system allows you to float the floor without glue. Simply score, snap, and click the planks together.
  • Surface Durability: Rated AC4 for heavy domestic use. The 0.5mm wear layer is scratch-resistant and pet-friendly.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What colour is Shorewood Oak?

Shorewood Oak is a bleached, multi-tonal driftwood colour. It blends sandy browns, beige, and soft greys to create a weathered, sun-drenched look that is lighter and more varied than "Millhouse Oak."

Is this suitable for a bathroom?

Yes, absolutely. Because it is a Waterproof SPC floor, it contains no wood fibers to swell or warp. It is perfect for creating a relaxed, coastal-themed bathroom.

Does it look realistic?

Yes. Woodpecker uses "LiveTouch" embossing technology. This means the texture you feel on the surface matches the grain and saw marks you see in the design, creating an incredibly authentic wood look.

Do I need to buy underlay?

No. The planks have a built-in underlay attached to the back. This saves you money and speeds up installation.

Is it hard to install?

No, it is designed for DIY. The Easiloc joint system allows you to click the boards together without glue. The boards can be cut by scoring them with a utility knife and snapping them, so you don't even need a saw for straight cuts.
