Verdant Artisanal Luxury: Maroc Ceramic Forest 9.9x9.9cm

Introduce a sense of botanical depth and handcrafted character to your home with the Maroc Ceramic Forest Tile by Ca' Pietra.

A premier standout in our Maroc Ceramic series (formerly known as Berber) is a sophisticated tribute to the ancient Moroccan Zellige tradition. This collection is expertly rated for internal floors and walls, providing a durable ceramic solution that combines artisanal beauty with modern performance. The Forest colourway delivers a rich, deep green palette, finished with a high-gloss glaze that shimmeringly reflects light across its characterfully undulated surface.

Crafted at a substantial 10mm thickness, these 9.9x9.9cm tiles feature a V4 high shading variation, ensuring that every installation captures a unique, handmade energy. Whether you are creating a lush kitchen splashback or a prestigious, light-reflecting floor in a boutique bathroom, the Maroc series provides an authentic texture that is moisture-resistant and remarkably easy to maintain without the need for specialist sealing.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Grout: We recommend a 2-3mm grout joint. For an integrated look, use a deep grout colour like Anthracite; for a subtle contrast, try Silver Grey to emphasize the artisanal tile edges.
  • Adhesive: Use a high-quality flexible ceramic tile adhesive. Ensure full bed coverage for floor installations to provide a permanent and robust bond.
  • Layout: To showcase the V4 variation, always blend tiles from multiple boxes during installation for a balanced, harmonious spread of tonal green hues.
  • Cleaning: Maintain the glossy surface with warm soapy water and a soft mop or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the long-term clarity of the ceramic glaze.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

How does the "Forest" green colour interact with light?

The Forest colourway features a deep, jewel-toned green that is enhanced by a high-gloss glaze. Because the surface of the ceramic is slightly undulated, light is reflected in different directions, creating a "liquid" look. The V4 high variation means you will see a beautiful range of emerald and pine tones, ensuring the installation feels organic and artisanal.

Can these green ceramic tiles be used on a kitchen floor?

Yes. The Maroc range is a high-performance ceramic collection that is expertly rated for internal residential floors. Its durable vitrified body makes it a practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways, providing the look of traditional Moroccan Zellige with the strength required for modern foot traffic.

What colour grout works best with Forest green tiles?

For a dramatic, seamless look, a dark grout such as Anthracite or Dark Grey will blend with the deep green tones. If you prefer to highlight the individual square shapes and the artisanal edges, a lighter contrasting grout like Silver Grey or Limestone can be used to create a striking architectural pattern.
