In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Fired Earth ranges are returned through Fired Earth’s own returns process, and special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

How does the "relief" pattern affect the look of the tile?

The relief pattern is a raised geometric design on the surface of the tile. Because the grey glaze is translucent, it "pools" in the deeper parts of the pattern and thins out over the raised edges. This creates a beautiful, multi-tonal effect where the pattern is highlighted by natural shadows and highlights, giving your wall a three-dimensional, artisanal feel.

Is it more difficult to clean a tile with a raised surface?

Not at all. While the surface is textured, it is finished with a high-gloss glaze that is completely non-porous. This means dirt, grease, and soap scum cannot penetrate the surface. A simple wipe with warm soapy water and a soft cloth is usually all that’s needed to keep them looking pristine.

Yes, they are designed specifically to work together. They share the same glaze, thickness, and tonal range. You can use the Decor tiles to create a central feature panel, a decorative border, or intersperse them randomly among the Alhambra Grey 7.5 x 15cm bricks for a "patchwork" effect.

What grout colour do you recommend for the Grey Decor?

To keep the look sophisticated and let the texture do the talking, we usually recommend a mid-grey grout that closely matches the tile. This creates a seamless, "wallpaper-like" effect. If you want the geometric pattern to pop more aggressively, you could use a slightly lighter silver-grey grout.

Are these suitable for a shower or a kitchen splashback?

Absolutely. These tiles are made from high-quality ceramic and are perfectly suited for all interior wall applications. They are heat-resistant, making them ideal for use behind a hob, and water-resistant for use in walk-in showers or wet rooms.

Do I need to seal these tiles?
