Suitability & installation

Where can this tile be used?

Suitable for floors. It is also listed for outdoor use; confirm the substrate, drainage and fixing system for the exact project.

What is the material and finish?

Material: Ceramic. Finish: Matt. Natural variation, glaze and texture can look different under room lighting, so order a sample where available.

Can it be used with underfloor heating?

The current catalogue data lists this product as suitable with underfloor heating. The heating system, substrate, movement joints and adhesive still need to be specified correctly for the installation.

Is it suitable outside and is it frost resistant?

Outdoor/external use is included in the current catalogue data. A frost rating is not stated here; confirm it before specifying the tile for exposed external conditions.

Product story

The Same Grid, A Gentler Punctuation

Dover White octagons with a Spring Green dot at every junction, the York grid supplied by the square metre from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

Swap the usual dark dot for Spring Green and the York pattern changes character entirely. Instead of punctuation there is colour, and a floor that would otherwise read as monochrome picks up a fresh, faintly garden-like note without becoming decorative.

It works especially well in rooms that already look outwards, where a green note on the floor answers what is happening beyond the glass. Both are 9mm vitrified tiles coloured through the body with a matt face, and a terrace may carry the same grid.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Additional supplier returns have their own eligibility rules, charges and exclusions. These do not override statutory cancellation rights or rights for faulty goods. See our refund policy and supplier return guidance before arranging a return.

Installation & Care Tips

Installation & care

  • Setting Out: Align the grid to the sightline from the main door so the Spring Green dots form an even field rather than drifting towards one wall.
  • Adhesive & Grout: Cement-based flexible adhesive, then an off-white joint that leaves the ground open so the green dot carries the pattern.
  • Sealing & Cleaning: These are unglazed tiles, so seal once laid and cured; the white ground in particular stays truer for it.
PLAN IT ONCE. KEEP IT TOGETHER.
