Product story
A Pink Dot Where The Octagons Meet
York keeps its Dover White octagons and changes only the dot, and putting Carnation Pink there alters the whole temper of a room by way of one small square from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
The octagon grid covers ground calmly and the dot is the only place any colour appears, which means the whole character of the floor turns on a square a few centimetres across. Carnation Pink at that scale is a blush rather than a statement, closer to a faded encaustic floor than to anything deliberately sweet.
Both shades are vitrified through a 9mm body and left matt, so a pale pink dot cannot wear off the face the way a glazed one would. The tiles are cleared for exterior floors, so the same grid can be carried out under a covered porch without losing the colour.

For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & care
- Setting Out: Align the octagon grid with the sight line from the main door so the dots form an even field rather than gathering towards one wall.
- Adhesive & Grout: Flexible cement-based adhesive under the octagons and an off-white joint, which keeps the ground open and lets the pink dot carry the pattern.
- Sealing & Cleaning: Unglazed and pale, so a sealer goes on once the floor is laid and dry; neutral cleaning then keeps the joints from greying.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
