Add the perfect finishing touch to your interior with the Arcadian Linen Torus Moulding from Original Style.

Designed to beautifully complement the Arcadian field and half tiles, this elegant architectural border features a warm, soft neutral Linen glaze. The highly sought-after Arcadian collection is renowned for its delicately textured, randomly Crackled Glaze, which imparts a softly aged look and wonderful tactile character to your walls. The classic, rounded torus profile provides a sophisticated, historic finishing touch, ideal for creating a traditional dado rail, capping off a half-tiled wall, or adding structural depth to decorative panels.

Engineered from premium ceramic, these mouldings are specifically suited for internal wet and dry wall applications. Their timeless shape makes them an absolute favourite choice for refining country kitchen splashbacks, decorative borders, or statement feature walls in spa-like bathrooms. Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive: Use a high-quality white flexible tile adhesive suitable for glazed ceramic wall tiles to prevent shadowing through the light-coloured glaze.
  • Grout Joint: A 2mm to 3mm grout joint is recommended when lining up with your corresponding Arcadian wall tiles.
  • Sealing & Cleaning: Tile sealing is strictly required for this crackle glaze tile to protect it from stains and water ingress. Seal the tiles before grouting. Maintain the finish easily with warm water and a soft cloth; avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

How many mouldings do I need to order?

To calculate your requirements, measure the linear length of the area where you wish to place the border. We highly recommend ordering an additional 10% on top of your measurements to account for cuts, corners, and wastage. Please note, these mouldings are sold in boxes of 4, which provides 0.8 linear metres of coverage per box.

Can this moulding be used as a kitchen splashback or in a shower?

Yes. These classic ceramic architectural mouldings are fully suitable for internal wet and dry walls, making them perfect for capping off half-tiled bathroom walls, shower enclosures, and beautifully framing kitchen splashbacks.

Do crackle glaze tiles need to be sealed?

Yes. Because the Metropolitan range features a glazed finish that is prone to beautiful variable crazing (micro-cracking), tile sealing is strictly required before you apply grout. This protects the delicate surface from absorbing moisture, grout pigments, or everyday stains in kitchens and bathrooms.
