Product story
Twelve Millimetres: the Narrowest Piece in the Artworks Range
The finest border in the collection, 152 x 12mm of plain gloss ceramic in a pale sage with a cool blue-green cast: the Artworks Jade Breeze Omega Moulding, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Nothing else in the Artworks range is this slim. At 12mm the Omega is narrower than every other moulding here and narrower than any of the beads, and its purpose is not decoration but punctuation. It is a stop: a clean plain edge that closes a panel of tiling, outlines a recess, or slips between two tile fields where anything wider would look heavy.
A very fine border behaves less like tiling and more like a drawn line, which means it can describe a shape on a wall — a panel, a shower recess, the head of an arch — without adding any visual mass. The soft green helps that reading. A darker or stronger colour at this width would read as an inked outline, whereas the pale sage keeps the line as a suggestion, present when you look for it and quiet when you do not.

Installation & care
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: White flexible adhesive; grey adhesive shadows through pale glazes and cools them. Grout should be close in tone and slightly cool, so a soft stone, a pale grey-green or a warm off-white. Brilliant white is to be avoided, the hard white grid being exactly what makes Victorian institutional tiling read as institutional and quite enough to push a soft green towards clinical. A warm beige or putty is no better, muddying the green towards olive. At 12mm a badly chosen grout will out-measure the tile itself.
- Layout: Tolerances are tight at this width and every cut shows, so use a wet saw with a fine blade and take your time. It is the right piece for outlining a shower recess or a tiled panel, and for dividing two fields of tile without interrupting either.
- Cleaning: The gloss glaze is non-porous and needs no sealing. Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers, which will dull the surface over time.
Samples
Tone, glaze and veining can read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free; sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and is refunded on tile orders over £50 using the code emailed with your sample order. Use the sample option in the buying panel, or call our Ascot team on 01344 620211 for help comparing colour, finish and quantities.
Delivery
In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.
Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.
