Antiqued Mirror Brick: Deco Glass Pewter

A 10 x 20cm brick tile in antiqued pewter mirror glass — Deco Glass Pewter from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.

Deco Glass Pewter brings the smoky depth of an antiqued mirror to the classic metro brick. Its softly distressed pewter finish reflects and scatters light, adding warmth and Art Deco glamour to a feature wall, splashback or bar.

Laid in a running bond, herringbone or stacked pattern, the mirror glass creates a shifting, jewel-like surface. Designed for interior walls, it needs no sealing and simply wipes clean.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Fix to a flat, dry interior wall with a white adhesive recommended for glass and mirror — avoid solvent-based products that can damage the antiqued backing. Grout in a soft, neutral shade.
  • Layout Options: Lay in a running bond, stacked or herringbone pattern with a fine joint. Best suited to walls, splashbacks and feature panels rather than floors.
  • Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a little glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the mirror surface.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Fired Earth ranges are returned through Fired Earth’s own returns process, and special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What grout colour should I use?

For a seamless, moody finish, we recommend Mapei Ultracolour Plus 113 Cement Grey or 114 Anthracite. These darker greys blend beautifully with the deep pewter tone of the glass.

For a lighter contrast, Mapei Ultracolour Plus 110 Manhattan (light grey) provides definition without being as harsh as bright white.

Can I use this in a shower?

No. Fired Earth advises that these tiles are not suitable for shower walls. They are intended for decorative use in dry areas or splashbacks where they won't be subjected to constant water pressure or saturation.

Can I use these behind a cooker?

Yes, they make a stunning splashback. However, they must be fully adhered to the wall to prevent heat expansion issues. Ensure hot pans do not touch the glass directly.

Do I need to seal these tiles?

No. Glass is non-porous and hygienic, requiring no sealing.

How do I clean them?

Clean them as you would a mirror. Use a soft cloth and a gentle glass cleaner to maintain the shine. Avoid abrasive scourers or harsh chemicals that could scratch the surface.
