Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles: Textured Sophistication with Urban Edge
At Hyperion Tiles, we curate materials that strike the perfect balance between function and form — and our Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles are a beautiful embodiment of that philosophy. Designed to echo the raw, understated beauty of poured concrete, these tiles offer an urban-inspired surface with all the advantages of refined craftsmanship. The format combines the classic brickbond layout with a textured cement-effect finish, creating a sophisticated surface that feels tactile, grounded, and incredibly versatile.
Whether you're designing a modern kitchen, a minimalist bathroom, or a commercial space with industrial flair, Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles bring effortless style and a subtle sense of structure. The muted tone and concrete-inspired texture give these tiles a neutral palette with a strong identity — one that anchors your design scheme without overpowering it. With their understated charm and modern material performance, these mosaics are a practical and stylish solution for both residential and commercial interiors.
A Contemporary Take on Classic Brickbond Layout
The brickbond layout has long been a go-to for both heritage and contemporary interiors, thanks to its timeless rhythm and strong visual structure. Our Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles reinterpret this traditional pattern through a smaller format, delivering precision and texture across mesh-backed sheets for easy installation. The staggered layout creates subtle movement and balance across the surface, making it perfect for feature walls, splashbacks, and smaller accent areas.
What elevates the Cement Brick range is its fusion of raw, architectural appeal with clean, modern lines. The miniature ‘bricks’ are designed to replicate the surface texture of real cement, offering a soft matt finish with slight tonal variation from piece to piece. The result is a beautifully tactile surface that feels organic and considered — a more refined alternative to actual poured concrete or heavy stone, with greater control over installation and maintenance.
Soft Industrial Texture for Versatile Interiors
These tiles are a fantastic choice for anyone wanting to introduce a hint of industrial style without going full warehouse aesthetic. The cement-effect finish offers a soft, muted texture that works beautifully with warm woods, matt black metals, brushed brass, and even high-gloss cabinetry. It's a surprisingly versatile base that can be styled to suit Scandinavian minimalism, rustic contemporary, or urban loft-inspired interiors.
In bathrooms, Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles create a calming and modern backdrop. They pair beautifully with concrete basins, terrazzo flooring, or clean white ceramics. The small format and narrow grout lines bring texture to shower walls, alcoves, and around vanities, while keeping the overall look sleek and cohesive. In kitchens, they serve as a characterful splashback, offering both function and design interest — especially when paired with darker cabinets or natural stone surfaces.
For commercial settings like bars, salons, or creative workspaces, these tiles add urban cool without sacrificing elegance. Their neutral tone helps to ground colour-heavy design schemes, while their brickbond format adds subtle architectural detail.
Durable Materials, Timeless Appeal
While the tiles are designed to mimic the raw texture of cement, they’re actually made from high-quality ceramic or porcelain, depending on the specific product line. This means they offer the durability and water resistance required for kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces, without the porosity or maintenance demands of real cement or concrete.
The surface is matt or lightly textured, offering a slightly weathered look that enhances the authentic feel of the tile. Each piece has a slightly varied tone — just enough to create visual interest, but not so much as to distract or feel overly patterned. This subtle shading effect is part of what makes the tiles feel bespoke, as the overall surface feels more like natural material than a manufactured finish.
Because they’re designed for long-term performance, these tiles resist wear, staining, and moisture — all without requiring sealing or special upkeep. Their understated aesthetic also ensures they remain on trend for years to come.
Easy Installation with Mesh-Backed Precision
Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles come pre-mounted on mesh sheets, which simplifies installation while ensuring perfect spacing and alignment. This format makes it easy to achieve a precise brickbond layout, even on large or complex surfaces. For installers and confident DIYers alike, this reduces both installation time and the potential for uneven grout lines or misaligned tiles.
Thanks to the small scale and flexible sheet format, these mosaics are also easier to work with around corners, niches, or curved surfaces. Whether you’re tiling a narrow splashback or wrapping a feature wall around an architectural detail, the mesh backing allows for cleaner cuts and neater transitions.
At Hyperion Tiles, we’re always on hand to offer guidance on adhesive selection, grouting techniques, and layout planning. We recommend using a grout colour that complements the natural cement tone — either matching it for a seamless look or adding gentle contrast to highlight the structure of the layout.
Low Maintenance and Long-Lasting Results
One of the main advantages of Cement Brick Mosaic Tiles is their ease of care. Unlike real cement or concrete surfaces, which can be porous and prone to staining, these tiles are sealed at the point of manufacture with a protective glaze or finish. This makes them resistant to water, oils, and household chemicals, making them ideal for use in high-traffic or moisture-prone areas.
Day-to-day cleaning requires nothing more than a soft cloth or sponge and a gentle, non-abrasive cleaner. Because of the small format and brick layout, dirt doesn’t settle as easily in the grout lines, especially when a quality grout is used and sealed correctly. For bathrooms, a quick wipe-down after use helps preserve the matt surface and keeps the tiles looking crisp and clean.
These tiles are built to last, both in terms of design and performance. They won’t fade, crack, or chip easily and require no resealing or specialist treatment. That’s what makes them such a reliable choice for both homeowners and commercial clients.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range.
