Evergreen Texture, Slender Form: Sutton Forest

Layer your walls and floors with the mossy, mineral greens of Sutton Forest stone-effect porcelain from Hyperion Tiles.

Sutton Forest draws its palette from lichen-covered stone — layered greens with a soft, natural surface movement and a moderate V3 variation that keeps every slender 6 x 30cm finger tile quietly individual. Laid together, they build a rhythmic, hand-set texture reminiscent of stacked stone.

This matt glazed porcelain is as capable as it is characterful: suitable for internal walls and floors, and frost-resistant enough for external walls too. With an R10 slip rating (PTV +36), it moves confidently from kitchen splashbacks and bathroom floors to garden room and courtyard walls.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Use a flexible porcelain adhesive; outdoors, choose frost-resistant adhesive and grout. A green-grey grout keeps the stone effect seamless.
  • Layout Options: Stack the slim 6 x 30cm format vertically for height, horizontally for calm, or herringbone for movement; blend tiles from several packs to distribute the V3 variation.
  • Cleaning: No sealing required — wash with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Fired Earth ranges are returned through Fired Earth’s own returns process, and special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate how many Sutton Forest tiles I need?

Sutton Forest is sold by the pack of 28 tiles, with each pack covering 0.5m² (56 tiles per m²). Measure your area in square metres, divide by 0.5 and round up to the next full pack. We always recommend adding 10% extra for cuts and wastage. For help with quantities, call our friendly team on 01344 620211.

Where can I use Sutton Forest?

Sutton Forest is a glazed porcelain tile suitable for internal walls and internal floors, and because it is frostproof it can also be used on external walls. That makes it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and garden or courtyard walls that need to withstand the weather.

What is the finish and slip rating of Sutton Forest?

Sutton Forest has a matt glazed finish with a moderate V3 shade variation that recreates the look of natural stone. It carries an R10 slip resistance rating (DIN 51130) and a PTV of +36 (shod), making it a dependable choice for floors and wet areas when installed appropriately.

Can I order a sample of Sutton Forest?

Yes. Samples of Sutton Forest are free to collect from our family-run showroom at 67 High Street, Ascot, or we can post one to your door for a small postage charge. It is the best way to judge the green tones and stone-effect texture in your own light.
