Seventy-Five Stories: Rustic Taco Heritage Mix 16.5 x 16.5cm

A patchwork floor with genuine soul — the Rustic Taco Heritage Mix 16.5 x 16.5cm porcelain tile from Hyperion Tiles.

This is the tile that turns a floor into a conversation. Every box holds twenty tiles drawn at random from more than seventy-five different heritage designs — faded blues, soft ochres, weathered greens and terracotta — so no two installations are ever quite alike. Laid across a kitchen floor or a boot room it has the collected, gathered-over-generations look of a Mediterranean farmhouse.

Made in Spain by Gayafores from hard-wearing glazed porcelain, it is rated F4 for heavy domestic traffic and is frostproof, so it can run from an internal floor straight out onto a terrace without changing tile.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Use a high-quality flexible adhesive and grout suitable for porcelain, and an exterior-grade system outdoors. A warm grey grout suits the aged palette.
  • Layout Options: Open several boxes at once and dry-lay before fixing — with V4 substantial variation and seventy-five-plus designs, shuffling the tiles is what gives the floor its authentic, random charm.
  • Cleaning: Sweep and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. Glazed porcelain needs no sealing and resists staining and frost.
Samples

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

How many Rustic Taco Heritage Mix tiles do I need per square metre?

You need 36.36 tiles per square metre. These are sold by the box of 20 tiles, which covers 0.55m². We recommend adding 10% for cuts and wastage, and our Ascot team is happy to check your quantities for you.

Will my tiles all have different patterns?

Yes — that is the charm of Heritage Taco. Each box of 20 tiles is filled at random from over 75 different designs, so no two floors are quite the same. Open several boxes at once and dry-lay before fixing to get the most natural spread of pattern.

Can Rustic Taco Heritage Mix be used on floors and outdoors?

Yes. This glazed porcelain tile is rated F4 for floors with heavy domestic traffic and is frostproof, so it suits internal floors, internal walls and external walls — including terraces and garden rooms.

Can I order a sample of Rustic Taco Heritage Mix?

Yes — a free full-tile sample is available, randomly selected from the design mix, so treat it as a taste of the range rather than the exact tile you will receive. Collect from our Ascot showroom at 67 High Street, or we can post it for a small postage charge.
