Description

Deep, Verdant Green: Ixworth Forest Brick 25 x 6cm

A deep forest green glazed ceramic wall tile in the slim brick format — Ixworth Forest from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.

Forest is a deep, verdant green with real depth of tone — the colour of woodland canopy caught in low light. Glossed to a mirror sheen, it lends a jewel-like richness to a splashback or feature wall, and pairs beautifully with brass, aged oak and warm creams.

The slim 25 x 6cm brick is elegantly elongated — laid in a running bond, stacked or in a herringbone it draws the eye along a wall, adding rhythm and a tailored, characterful finish. Crafted in glossy glazed ceramic just 9mm thick, Ixworth is specified for interior walls and wet areas — bathrooms, showers, kitchen splashbacks and interior swimming pools alike. The non-porous glaze needs no sealing and simply wipes clean.

Installation & care

Installation & care

  • Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a high-quality flexible adhesive and choose your grout to suit the look — a tonal shade for a seamless wall, or a contrasting grout to emphasise the brick or bar coursing.
  • Layout Options: Lay in a classic running bond, stack vertically for a contemporary feel, or set in a herringbone. Shuffle tiles from several boxes as you work to blend the natural gloss variation.
  • Cleaning: Simply wipe with warm water and a mild cleaner. The glossy glazed surface is non-porous, needs no sealing and resists splashes and steam.
Delivery And Returns

Try it before you commit

Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Fired Earth ranges are returned through Fired Earth’s own returns process, and special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What are Ixworth tiles made from?

Ixworth is a glazed ceramic wall tile range from Fired Earth, finished with a glossy glaze over a 9mm ceramic body. The collection comes in two formats: a slim 25 x 6cm brick and a wider 25 x 12.5cm bar (kit-kat), across seven colourways.

Can Ixworth tiles be used in a shower or swimming pool?

Yes. Ixworth is well suited to bathrooms, shower enclosures, kitchen splashbacks and interior swimming pools thanks to its non-porous glazed surface. It is designed for interior walls rather than floors.

Do Ixworth tiles need sealing?

No. The glossy glaze is non-porous, so no sealing is required. Wipe clean with a mild household cleaner; there is no need for specialist stone treatments.

Can I order a sample before buying?

Yes. A full tile sample is available to order on each product page, and cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom or can be posted to you for a small postage charge.
