Abalon Abyss is a frostproof glass mosaic rated for internal walls and swimming pool tanks. That makes it a natural choice for shower enclosures, splashbacks, bathroom feature walls and pool linings. Because the 2.5cm chips are mounted on a flexible mesh-backed sheet, it will follow a curve, wrap a reveal or turn a niche cleanly — which is why mosaics are so often used where a large-format tile simply cannot go.

Always use a white flexible adhesive suitable for glass. This matters more than it does with ceramic: glass is translucent, so a grey or cement-coloured adhesive will read through the chips and dull the colour. For grout, a dark shade will deepen the Abyss tone and let the wall read as one surface, while a paler grout lifts each chip into relief. Glass is one of the easiest surfaces to live with. Abalon Abyss needs no sealing and will not stain — simply clean with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, which can scratch the surface or degrade the grout. The colour is held within the body of the glass rather than in a surface glaze, so it will not fade with use or sunlight.
