About Lomond Marble Effect Tiles
Lomond is the chequerboard, reduced to its essentials. Two tiles — Livingstone Blanco and Livingstone Nero — one luminous white marble with drifting grey veins, the other a deep, inky black threaded with pale movement. Laid together they produce the monochrome floor that has anchored English hallways for two centuries.
Crafted in Italy from glazed porcelain, Lomond offers the beauty of natural marble with none of the sealing or upkeep. Rectified for crisp, narrow grout joints and rated R10 underfoot, it is frostproof and hardwearing enough for internal walls and floors as well as sheltered external walls. Lay it square for classic restraint, on the diagonal for something grander, or use either colour alone as a calm, uninterrupted field.
