Fixing advice
- Showers and wet rooms: use a water-resistant or epoxy grout and tank the substrate behind the tile.

The Second Monochrome, With A Different Rhythm
Tao 2 sets black geometry against Dover White on a 151mm matt ceramic square, a companion to Tao 1 rather than a repeat of it, with its own rhythm, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Original Style drew two Tao designs, not one design in two colourways, and the distinction matters when you are choosing. Both are black on Dover White and both are geometric, but they arrange that geometry differently, so a house can carry the same monochrome idea through two rooms without the second one looking like a copy of the first.
Black and white is a pairing that never quite goes out of use, and a warm white ground is what keeps it from feeling clinical. It measures 151mm in each direction with 0.0228m² of face over a nine millimetre body. Boxes hold fifteen pieces. Per square metre, the tile count is 43.86.

When your order arrives

Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & Care Tips
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix on a white flexible compound. Joint in light grey, the deepest tone Original Style sanction for Primo — against black geometry a brilliant white grout lays down a grid the design was never drawn to carry.
- Layout: Strike a chalk line and work to it rather than to the walls. In a small room a two millimetre drift in a black figure is visible from the doorway.
- Cleaning: A soft cloth, warm water and a little gentle soap. Scouring pads scuff a matt black surface readily and the marks do not lift. A sealer should go down ahead of the grout, and be renewed after residue is cleaned off.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
