Fixing advice
- Showers and wet rooms: use a water-resistant or epoxy grout and tank the substrate behind the tile.
- Sealing: glazed ceramic and porcelain generally do not need sealing; check the product specification and the grout instructions.

Circles That Cross And Keep Crossing
Tao 1 draws a geometry of intersecting circles in black over Dover White, a monochrome ceramic square whose figure only completes where one tile meets the next in an unbroken chain of circles, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
The design is built from overlapping circles, and the overlaps are what carry it across joints. A single tile shows arcs meeting at the edge; four tiles show the full interlocking figure; a laid floor shows a chain of it running in both directions with no visible tile boundary at all.
Black on Dover White is a combination that does not date, and the warmer ground stops the contrast becoming harsh. The tile is 151mm square, nine millimetres of matt ceramic, presenting 0.0228m² of face. Fifteen tiles come in a box. As a matter of geometry, 43.86 of them occupy a square metre once laid.

When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & Care Tips
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: A white flexible bedding compound beneath the pale ground. Grout light grey, going no darker than that, since Original Style set light grey as the limit on Primo — the black then stands on its own, where a brilliant white maximises the joints and breaks the circles.
- Layout: Dry-lay a block of four and check the circles close. Rotation errors are invisible in one tile and impossible to miss across a floor.
- Cleaning: Gentle detergent in warm water. Abrasives dull matt black unevenly and the dulled areas catch the light at exactly the wrong angle. Seal the faces before grouting them and seal them a second time once the residue has gone.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
