Product story

The Blue City in a Single Tile: Nina Campbell Jodhpur Aqua 20 x 20cm

Serene aqua detailing washes over an ivory ground — Nina Campbell Jodhpur Aqua from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.

Jodhpur is Rajasthan's fabled Blue City, its old town a maze of indigo-washed walls beneath a desert fort. Nina Campbell's hand-painted design captures that cooling blue and its intricate ornament, a heritage-inspired motif with a fresh, contemporary calm.

Crafted from premium glazed porcelain, each 20 x 20cm tile carries a soft matt finish that lets the hand-painted design take centre stage. Dense and hard-wearing, porcelain shrugs off moisture and everyday wear, making it equally at home on walls and floors across hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Additional supplier returns have their own eligibility rules, charges and exclusions. These do not override statutory cancellation rights or rights for faulty goods. See our refund policy and supplier return guidance before arranging a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What colours are in the pattern?

The design features a fresh and sunny combination of primrose yellow and soft blue, set against a clean white background. It’s a very uplifting palette that adds light and character to a room.

What is the inspiration behind the design?

The pattern is based on a photograph Nina Campbell took of a painted ceiling inside the Red Fort in Jodhpur, India. The tile replicates the intricate floral artistry found in royal Indian palaces but translates it onto a practical floor tile.

Is it suitable for floors?

Yes, absolutely. It is made of high-quality glazed porcelain with excellent durability. It is suitable for high-traffic areas like hallways and kitchens, as the pattern is fired into the glaze and won't wear off like surface paint.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes. As a frost-proof porcelain tile, the Jodhpur Aqua is suitable for external use. It looks particularly stunning on a garden patio or in a conservatory that leads out into the garden.

Installation & Care Tips

Installation & care

Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white or light-grey flexible adhesive; a soft grey grout keeps the aqua looking clean and bright.
Layout Options: Order a little extra and mix tiles from several boxes as you lay; rotating the pattern square by square builds a lively, characterful surface.
Cleaning: Glazed porcelain needs no sealing - simply wipe clean with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner to keep the design looking its best.
