Small Diamonds, A Whole Floor
A miniature harlequin worked in olive green over chalk, 298mm square in through-body porcelain and bought by the square metre rather than in accents, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Harlequin Small does exactly what its name suggests. The diamond grid is scaled down, so one 298mm tile carries several complete diamonds instead of a single large one, and olive green alternates with a chalk ground across the whole face. At arm's length it is a chequer stood on its point. Seen across a room it settles into an even texture closer to woven cloth than to a painted motif.
Each tile measures 298 x 298 x 8mm, which gives its face an area of 0.0888m². Original Style pack six tiles to a box. The rate they list for laying is 11.11 tiles per m². As for where it can go: walls wet or dry, dry floors, and outdoor use on both walls and paving, which lets a kitchen and the terrace beyond its doors share a single material. Wet floors are shod only.

When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & Care Tips
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: White flexible adhesive keeps the chalk ground reading as chalk. Grout in a soft off-white, or a grey kept as light as it will go; brilliant white draws a hard rectangle round each tile and interrupts diamonds that are meant to cross between them.
- Layout: The repeat runs over the tile edges, so set out from the middle of the room and dry-lay two complete rows before anything is fixed. Diamonds that fall out of step by a threshold cannot be pulled back later along the run.
- Cleaning: Warm water and a mild detergent. Leave abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers alone, since both dull a matt face and the dulling shows up first on the light ground. Sealing is the manufacturer's advice: apply a sealer before you grout, then seal a second time after the grout haze has been washed off.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
