Empress Beatrice Tourmaline, a deep tourmaline teal (a rich blue-green) glazed relief ceramic tile in a 15.2 x 15.2cm format from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.

The Empress Beatrice Tourmaline sets the range's Arts and Crafts botanical relief against a deep, jewel-like tourmaline teal — a rich blue-green that would have felt entirely at home during the reign of Queen Victoria. The raised motif and saturated colour together make a confident, characterful statement in a bathroom, cloakroom or kitchen.

Made to the original designs in glazed and decorated ceramic, each 15.2 x 15.2cm tile carries a genuine crackle glaze for a softly crazed, characterful surface. Intended for interior walls, Beatrice Tourmaline coordinates with the matching tourmaline base and dado trims to complete an authentically Empress wall.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Sealing: The crackle glaze is porous — seal the tiles before grouting, and again after, to protect the crazed surface from staining.
Adhesive & Grout: Fix to a sound, dry interior wall with a quality flexible adhesive and grout in a soft, tonal shade. Keep a 3mm joint to allow for the natural size tolerance.
Cleaning: Wipe with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner; avoid harsh abrasives and acidic products that can dull the glaze. For interior walls only — not suitable for floors or external use.

Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:

• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.

• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.

• Unfinished tracks and roads.

• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.

• Gravel driveways.
