Edwardian Caledonian Dado, a moulded deep Caledonian bottle green ceramic dado rail trim from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.
The Caledonian Dado is the elegant border rail of the Edwardian range — a slim, moulded profile in glossy Caledonian green that draws a horizontal line across the wall, defining the classic dado height so characteristic of Edwardian interiors. It is a trim piece, sold individually.
Glazed and decorated ceramic with a crackle-glazed surface, its 22.8 x 7.6cm profile has genuine sculptural depth. Set it above the Acanthus field tiles and Caledonian base to complete a properly resolved, period-correct wall.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips
- Sealing: The crackle glaze is porous — seal the tiles before grouting, and again after, to protect the crazed surface from staining.
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix to a sound, dry interior wall with a quality flexible adhesive and grout in a soft, tonal shade. Keep a 3mm joint to allow for the natural size tolerance.
- Cleaning: Wipe with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner; avoid harsh abrasives and acidic products that can dull the glaze. For interior walls only — not suitable for floors or external use.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
