Fixing advice
- Showers and wet rooms: use a water-resistant or epoxy grout and tank the substrate behind the tile.
- Sealing: natural stone normally needs a suitable impregnating sealer before grouting and again as required after installation.

A Warm Woven Marble: East Hampton Emperador Basketweave Marble Mosaic
A honed basketweave mosaic in rich brown Emperador marble, deepened with darker veining — East Hampton from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.
The Emperador colourway swaps cool white for a warm, chocolate-brown marble, giving the classic basketweave a richer, more traditional character. Supplied on mesh-backed sheets of genuine Emperador stone, it brings depth and warmth to bathroom floors, shower niches and feature walls.
As a natural stone, each sheet is unique, with tonal movement running through the weave. The honed surface is smooth and contemporary, and being real marble it should be sealed on installation to guard against moisture and staining.

When your order arrives

Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix mesh-backed sheets with a natural-stone adhesive and choose a warm-toned grout to complement the Emperador brown.
- Sealing & Care: Being real marble, seal before grouting and again once installed. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — never vinegar, bleach or acidic products, which will etch natural marble.
- Layout: Align the sheet edges so the basketweave pattern runs continuously, keeping the joints even between sheets.
