A Woven Marble Detail: East Hampton Basketweave Marble Mosaic
A honed white marble mosaic in the classic basketweave, threaded with cool grey veining — East Hampton from Hyperion Tiles, your official Fired Earth stockist.
The interlaced basketweave is a period favourite that feels fresh in natural marble. Supplied on mesh-backed sheets of genuine white stone, it brings gentle texture and traditional charm to bathroom floors, shower niches and feature walls.
As a natural stone, each sheet is unique, with grey veining that shifts across the weave. The honed surface is smooth and contemporary, and being real marble it should be sealed on installation to guard against moisture and staining.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix mesh-backed sheets with a white natural-stone adhesive and a matching pale grout — a white adhesive prevents shadowing through the marble.
- Sealing & Care: Being real marble, seal before grouting and again once installed. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — never vinegar, bleach or acidic products, which will etch natural marble.
- Layout: Align the sheet edges so the basketweave pattern runs continuously, keeping the joints even between sheets.

Delivery And Returns
Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries
Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:
• Low hanging trees and bridges.
• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.
• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.
• Unfinished tracks and roads.
• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.
• Gravel driveways.
If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.
Checking Orders
Check your delivery as soon as it arrives!
Once the goods are unloaded, they become the responsibility of the receiver.
If you notice any issues with your order, please contact us within three working days so we can resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. Prompt reporting helps us ensure your satisfaction with our products and services.
Fired Earth Tile Returns
Returns are accepted only for complete orders; partial orders cannot be accepted. To begin a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your delivery.
All other Brands
You may return your items within 14 days of receiving or collecting your delivery. Please note that a restocking fee of 20% to 30% will apply, depending on the specific terms of the product range. For further details, feel free to contact us.

Orders for special order items are non-returnable unless they are damaged on delivery or are faulty.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
