- Weight & Support: This is a solid stone skirting (1.9cm thick). Ensure it is adhered fully to the wall using a suitable high-grab adhesive to prevent slipping during cure.
- Sealing is Critical: Black marble can show "etching" (dull spots) from acids. It must be sealed before and after grouting with a high-quality impregnator to maintain its deep colour and finish.
- Mitred Corners: For external corners, the stone should be mitre-cut at 45 degrees. A quality wet cutter is essential to prevent chipping the black edges.
- Cleaning: Never use acidic cleaners (bleach, vinegar, lemon) on black marble. Use only pH-neutral cleaners specifically designed for natural stone.

Access Issues For Large Pallet Deliveries
Our delivery drivers may be prevented from delivering your order by the following:
• Low hanging trees and bridges.
• Narrow roads, gateways, or cars on either side of the road.
• No turning point for the delivery vehicle.
• Unfinished tracks and roads.
• Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.
• Gravel driveways.
If access issues are not advised and/or delivery cannot be made due to unattendance at delivery, a re-delivery charge may be applied.

Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
