Silvered Facets, Vintage Soul: 50mm Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White

The 50mm Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White comes to you from Hyperion Tiles, part of our Antique Mirror glass collection.

Each 50mm chip of softly silvered antiqued mirror is bevel-faceted, turning the sheet into a shimmering field of tiny reflective planes. The gentle white foxing keeps the effect light and elegant, catching daylight and lamplight alike.

Supplied as mesh-backed sheets for easy setting-out, the mirrored glass is non-porous and wipe-clean, ideal for splashbacks, feature walls and bathroom schemes.

The Hyperion Family Promise

  • Design Continuity: Part of our Antique Mirror family — pair the faceted mosaic with the brick and large-format options in white, grey and copper.
  • Premium Durability: Antiqued mirror glass with a non-porous, wipe-clean surface.
  • Order a Sample: Request a sample to collect from our Ascot showroom, or have one posted for a small postage charge.
  • Dedicated Delivery: Enjoy free UK delivery on orders over £1,000.
  • Personalised Project Support: Sold per mesh-backed sheet (approx. 310 x 310mm / 0.096m²). Our team will help you calculate quantities with an allowance for cuts.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

  • Adhesive & Grout: Always fix with a white glass tile adhesive — mirror glass can show a darker adhesive through the chips, so white keeps every facet bright. These are mesh-backed sheets; butt sheets closely so the joins disappear.
  • Layout Options: Run the sheets in a simple grid; stagger the mesh joins slightly to avoid a visible seam.
  • Cleaning: The glass surface is non-porous and wipe-clean, ideal for kitchen splashbacks, shower and bathroom walls and other wet areas. Take care with the faceted cut edges during handling.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

Are Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White Tiles Suitable For Bathrooms?

Yes, Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White tiles are an excellent choice for bathrooms, especially for homeowners who want to introduce light, depth and understated luxury into their space. Bathrooms often benefit from reflective surfaces because they can help brighten areas that do not receive much natural light, and the faceted design of these tiles enhances this effect beautifully. Each small facet catches the light from different angles, producing a soft sparkle that elevates the room without feeling too intense or glossy. The antique white tint adds a sense of warmth and gentle age, giving the bathroom a calm, elegant atmosphere rather than a harsh mirrored look. These mosaics pair well with a wide range of materials commonly used in bathrooms, including marble-effect porcelain, natural stone, brushed brass, chrome and soft neutral tones. When installed using suitable adhesives and grouts, they remain stable and durable in humid environments. Their smooth surface can be easily cleaned with mild, non-abrasive products, helping maintain their clarity and sheen. Whether used as a feature wall, behind a basin or around a vanity area, these tiles offer a refined, timeless finish that transforms everyday routines into something more luxurious.

Can Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White Tiles Be Used In Kitchens?

Yes, these tiles are a superb option for kitchen settings, particularly as splashbacks or decorative feature panels. Kitchens benefit greatly from surfaces that reflect light and create a feeling of openness, and Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White tiles achieve this elegantly. Their antique white tint softens the reflections, avoiding the overly bright or stark effect of plain mirror tiles. This ensures they add character and warmth to the kitchen while enhancing the overall brightness of the space. The faceted design also introduces a textured dimension that pairs beautifully with modern and traditional cabinetry, whether it is sleek, handleless units or classic painted shaker doors. They complement a wide range of worktop materials including quartz, granite, marble and timber, making them a versatile addition to many kitchen styles. Their smooth surface is easy to clean, which is essential in a cooking environment. A gentle wipe with a mild cleaner keeps them looking pristine. Installed correctly, they are durable enough to withstand the daily demands of a busy kitchen. Whether used sparingly for accent areas or across full splashbacks, these mosaics bring a sophisticated yet subtle glamour to kitchen interiors.

What Makes Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White Tiles Unique?

Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White tiles stand out due to their combination of faceted surfaces, antique styling and luminous white tint. Unlike flat mirror tiles, the individual angled facets refract light in multiple directions, creating a soft sparkle that changes as you move around the room. This dynamic effect adds depth, texture and a jewel-like quality that feels sophisticated rather than flashy. The antique white tint distinguishes these tiles further by introducing a warm, aged tone that softens the reflectivity, giving the mosaics a refined historic charm reminiscent of vintage mirrors. This means they not only brighten a room but also offer a sense of character and atmosphere that plain mirror tiles cannot match. Their mosaic sheet format adds further uniqueness, allowing them to create richly textured walls that are more visually engaging than large single panels. The combination of these features makes the tiles incredibly versatile, fitting seamlessly into modern, classic and transitional interiors. Their ability to balance glamour with subtlety is what makes them genuinely unique and sought after for stylish residential spaces.

Are Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White Tiles Easy To Maintain?

Yes, these tiles are relatively easy to maintain, making them a practical choice in addition to being visually striking. Their mirrored surface naturally resists everyday marks, and the faceted structure helps disguise fingerprints and minor smudges more effectively than flat mirror tiles. Day-to-day cleaning typically involves wiping them with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner that does not contain harsh chemicals or abrasives. Avoiding ammonia-based products helps maintain the clarity and warmth of the antique white tint. When installed correctly with appropriate adhesive and grout, these tiles are durable and remain in excellent condition even in areas exposed to humidity or repeated cleaning, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Their mosaic format also means that if any small section is ever damaged, it is easier to replace individual pieces rather than an entire panel. With simple, gentle care, Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White tiles retain their subtle glow and elegant finish for many years. This ease of maintenance combined with their decorative appeal makes them a popular choice for homeowners looking for stylish surfaces that do not require complex upkeep.

Do Facet Mosaic Antique Mirror White Tiles Suit Modern And Traditional Interiors?

Yes, these tiles work exceptionally well in both modern and traditional interiors because they combine contemporary geometric detail with classic mirror craftsmanship. In modern settings, the faceted design brings texture and visual interest to minimalist layouts, helping soften sharp lines and adding dimension to neutral colour palettes. Their antique white tint also introduces warmth, making contemporary spaces feel more inviting. They pair beautifully with materials such as concrete-effect porcelain, matt finishes, sleek metals and minimalist cabinetry. In traditional interiors, the antique mirror effect complements woodwork, period-inspired fixtures, ornate mirrors and vintage finishes. The gentle patina echoes the style found in classic European interiors, adding authenticity and refinement. For transitional homes that combine old and new influences, these tiles are particularly effective because they harmonise contrasting elements through their blend of aged charm and modern structure. Their versatility ensures they remain stylish and relevant across evolving design trends, making them a dependable and timeless addition to UK homes.
