Three Equal Sides, Which Opens Up A Different Geometry Entirely
An equilateral triangle does not belong to the square grid at all. Six of them close into a hexagon, and that single fact opens a family of layouts the right-angled pieces cannot reach. Ten shades are available from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Because every side is the same length, these triangles rotate freely against one another. Arrange six around a point and a hexagon appears, in one shade or six; arrange them in alternating rows and you get the banded zigzag familiar from later Victorian work; combine two shades and the floor reads as a field of tumbling three-dimensional blocks.
The triangle is 9mm thick, pressed in vitrified ceramic whose shade is fired through the entire section, with no glaze laid over it. Its matt surface should be sealed after the floor is laid, and it is rated for both interior and exterior floors.

When your order arrives

Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

- Setting Out: Establish a true sixty-degree grid at the outset; on equilateral work a small angular error grows alarmingly across a room.
- Adhesive & Grout: Use a flexible adhesive with even coverage and keep the joint width identical on all three sides of every piece.
- Sealing & Cleaning: An unglazed matt face wants sealing once dry, after which neutral cleaning and no acids is the whole regime.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
