Product story

STUDIO Sanderson Rye Pottery Blue Ceramic Wall Tile 13x13cm

Rye draws grasses - fine stems and seed heads, leaning as though caught in a breeze - over a pottery blue glaze. The drawing is spare and almost botanical, and repeated across a panel the stems begin to sway together in one direction.

Made as a gloss ceramic tile measuring 13 x 13cm by 1cm, it needs no sealing and is rated for internal walls. Bathrooms, shower and wet rooms, splashbacks and feature walls are all suitable settings.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What is the unit of sale for STUDIO Sanderson Rye Pottery Blue?

Tiles are bought individually. One covers 0.0169m² and 59.17 make up a square metre — calculate the area, multiply by 59.17, then order roughly a tenth more to cover cuts and breakages. Because there is no box quantity, nothing is left over on a small run.

Where should STUDIO Sanderson Rye Pottery Blue be used?

Not on a floor. It is specified for internal walls, and the glaze is not made to take foot traffic. As wall tiling it works for a splashback, a panel, or the walls of a bathroom or wet room, and requires no sealing.

Can I see STUDIO Sanderson Rye Pottery Blue before ordering?

Yes. Free cut samples are free to collect from our showroom at 67 High Street, Ascot, or posted for the cost of postage. Worth doing with a gloss glaze, which shifts noticeably between daylight and lamplight.
