Product story

Sanderson Very Rose & Peony Pottery Blue Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 20x20cm

Full-blown roses and peonies, painted in pottery blue and set inside a hexagon — Very Rose & Peony is the most exuberant thing in the collection and the only piece that breaks the square. Laid as a honeycomb, the blooms lock together across the joints, so a modest splashback carries as much presence as a whole wall.

Each hexagon measures 20 x 20cm in matt porcelain, 1cm thick, rated for internal walls and floors, needing no sealing and reading PTV+36 when wet. The hexagon boxes differently from the squares in the range, so allow for the cuts where a run meets a corner or a ceiling line.

Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Product Frequently Asked Questions

What does a box of Sanderson Very Rose & Peony Pottery Blue cover?

One box gives you 32 tiles and 0.98m² of coverage, or 32.64 tiles per square metre. Multiply height by width, divide the result by 0.98, and add roughly a tenth again for cuts and breakages. Give us the room dimensions and we will work the order out with you.

What rooms does Sanderson Very Rose & Peony Pottery Blue suit?

Both. The rating covers internal walls and internal floors, with PTV+36 when wet, so it works through a bathroom, a wet room, a kitchen or a hallway. It needs no sealing, and its rating is for internal areas only.

How does the hexagon format change the way Sanderson Very Rose & Peony Pottery Blue lays out?

A six-sided tile meets its neighbours across three axes rather than two, so the pattern joins in more directions than it would on a square grid and reads as a continuous field. Set out from a full hexagon on the principal sightline and push the cuts to the edges.
