Geometry With The Volume Up
Penshaw at full strength, black interlocking diamonds over chalk on a 298mm porcelain square, laid as a continuous field of unbroken contrast, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Penshaw is the most graphic drawing in this group of Odyssey Grande patterns: intersecting diamond outlines that lock together edge to edge and build a rigid, architectural grid. In black over chalk there is nothing to soften it. The floor becomes the dominant element in the room, which is either exactly what a scheme needs or exactly what it does not — there is very little middle ground.
Tile size is 298 x 298 x 8mm — 0.0888m² of face on each one. Original Style supply six in each box and put the coverage at 11.11 tiles to the square metre. It may go on a wet or dry wall, on a dry floor, and outside on either. Where a floor gets wet, footwear is assumed, so this is not a tile for a barefoot shower base.

For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & Care Tips
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: White flexible adhesive. Grout in a mid grey: white joints add a third set of lines to a design already built from lines, and black joints thicken the geometry until the chalk closes up.
- Layout: Strike a line down the length of the room and set out from it. High contrast makes any drift measurable by eye, so check alignment every third row rather than at the end.
- Cleaning: Warm water with a mild detergent. Abrasive pads dull matt black quickly and unevenly; once that happens the marks cannot be polished out again. Seal the tiles first, grout afterwards, then seal again as soon as the surface is clear of grout residue.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
