Product story
Turning an Albert Run to the Right
The Jet Black Albert Right Corner is the right-handed version of the moulded piece that carries an Albert run round an outside angle, sold as a single piece from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Where a run turns to the right as you face the wall, this is the piece that takes it round. Corners are bought individually and not by the box, so the order matches the room exactly; where the tiling turns two outside angles at the top of the tiled band, one hand of each is what the job takes: this one and its left-hand twin.
It is worth being plain about what the piece replaces. Without it the angle is formed by cutting two lengths at 45 degrees and closing them together, a joint that must be perfect in two planes, that leaves a hairline of unglazed body down its length, and that is the first thing to chip when something is carried past it. The moulded corner arrives already turned. On this glaze that counts twice over, because a fully glazed angle keeps the reflection running on round it rather than breaking it at a cut. Both hands are held here in Jet Black, which is uncommon across the wider Artworks palette.

Installation & care
Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: Bed the corner on a flexible adhesive and let it set before running the straight lengths in, so that it cannot be nudged out of true. For the joint: a dark, close-toned grout makes the angle read as moulded rather than assembled, while brilliant white puts a pale frame round the corner piece and makes a feature of the junction. Grey halfway between the two is wasted on this corner. Get the sponge into both sides of the angle while the grout is still soft.
- Layout: Plumb the outside angle before anything else, because if the wall is out of true the corner piece will show it. Set this one before its opposite hand so that the two are gauged to a single height.
- Cleaning: There is nothing to seal; the gloss glaze is non-porous. Warm water and a mild detergent will do it. Abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers should be avoided, as both will flatten the shine over the years.

Delivery
In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.
Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.
