Carrying the Moulding Round: Artworks Brilliant White Albert Right External Corner

A purpose-made 165 x 40mm right-hand corner piece that turns the Albert moulding cleanly around an outside angle — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

Cutting a mitre in a profiled ceramic moulding is a thankless job, and the result seldom looks as intended. This dedicated right-hand corner removes the problem entirely, taking the Albert profile round a projecting angle in one glazed piece with the detail running continuously through the turn.

It is the right-hand half of a handed pair — a chimney breast or boxed-in pipe will need one of each. Glazed in the same deep, translucent Brilliant White as the Albert moulding and the wider Artworks range.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible tile adhesive and grout to match the moulding run, wiping the profile clean before the grout begins to set.
Layout: Fix the corners first and run the straight moulding into them, so the profile aligns perfectly on both faces of the angle.
Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water, a mild detergent and a soft brush for the stepped detail; avoid abrasive pads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the left or the right Albert corner?

Stand facing the corner: if the moulding run approaches from your left and turns away, you need the left-hand piece; if it approaches from the right, you need the right. A projecting corner such as a chimney breast or boxed pipe needs one of each. Send us a photograph if you would like us to check.

How are the Albert external corners supplied?

Individually, one piece at a time rather than by the box, so you can order exactly the number your run requires. Each measures 165 x 40mm and is glazed to match the Artworks Brilliant White Albert moulding.

Will Brilliant White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Brilliant White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. Cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom, or we can post one to you for the cost of postage. Seeing the glaze in your own light is the surest way to judge how it will sit against your paint, stone and metalwork.
