Product story
Gold At The Centre, Brown Around It
Warm mid-brown banding enclosing a golden star, a running length from the warm end of the Iberian range, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Regency Bath is a mid-brown with no grey in it, and using it instead of a grey to frame the star changes the whole reading of the design. The geometry loses its severity; the tile acquires something of an aged, sunlit look even when it is brand new.
It is the colourway to choose beside oak, brass or unpainted plaster, where a cool border would sit awkwardly. Used as a single course above a splashback it draws warmth along the wall rather than a hard line across it. Size is 151 x 151 x 9mm and the area of one face is 0.0228m². Fifteen pieces are packed to a box. Original Style state coverage as 43.86 tiles per square metre.

Installation & care
- Adhesive & Grout: Fix on white flexible adhesive. Reach for a buff or biscuit-toned joint rather than a cool one, which would drain the warmth straight out of this palette, and keep it light: Original Style allow nothing darker than a light grey on Primo.
- Layout: Mark the level before anything is fixed and hold every tile to it. A warm border that dips is read as a mistake rather than as a feature.
- Cleaning: A gentle detergent, lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Anything acidic belongs nowhere near the glaze, whatever the colourway happens to be. Seal, then grout, then seal again once residue has gone; the maker recommends both stages for this tile.
