Three Shapes, One Diagonal, Two Colours
Huntingdon builds its diagonal lattice from three simple shapes in black and Dover White, and if the hall is narrow the diagonal is the part that will do the most for it, ordered by the square metre from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
A diagonal pulls the eye across a room rather than along it, which is why a narrow Victorian hall laid this way feels broader than the tape says. The small pieces keep the repeat tight, so the pattern still resolves in a passage where a larger geometric would only ever be seen in fragments.
Colour sits in the clay of a 9mm vitrified tile finished matt, with no glaze to wear through or craze outdoors. The rating covers exterior floors, so the lattice can run out through a side door onto a path and carry on behaving in the same way.

When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

Installation & care
- Setting Out: Strike two perpendicular lines and work outward from the crossing, checking for cumulative drift every few repeats, because a small lattice compounds an error quickly.
- Adhesive & Grout: Spread flexible cement-based adhesive to a full and even bed, holding the joints narrow and consistent, since at this scale grout becomes a visible third colour.
- Sealing & Cleaning: The surface is unglazed, so seal once the floor has dried out and thereafter use a neutral cleaner, paying attention to the joints.

Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
