Black Scrollwork Running Over A Red Ground
Faraday Border puts black ornament on a red ground, the warmest way to finish the perimeter of a geometric floor without letting the edge go quiet. Order the border by the metre from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.
Red carries the border and black draws the detail, and that order matters. A black-on-white border edges a floor politely; black on red edges it with conviction, which suits a hall where the field pattern is already doing something confident.
Vitrified ceramic, body-coloured, 9mm and matt, so the black ornament is part of the tile rather than printed on top of it. Interior and exterior floors are both in scope, and a border of this kind is often the element that carries a scheme through a front door.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

- Adhesive & Grout: A flexible adhesive and a grout kept dark enough not to interrupt the black scrollwork will read cleanly.
- Sealing & Cleaning: Unglazed, so seal after laying and drying; thereafter neutral cleaners, no acid, and grit swept off before it is walked in.

Shipping Information
Once an order has been placed, goods that are in stock can normally be dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you.
Express delivery: 1–2 working days.
