Yes, this is 100% natural limestone. It is formed by nature, meaning every single tile is unique. You will see small holes (pits), veins, and fossils, which are all part of its charm.

Can I use this in a shower?

Yes, but it must be properly sealed. Once sealed, it is water-resistant and suitable for wet rooms. We recommend resealing it periodically to maintain protection.

Is it suitable for underfloor heating?

Yes. Natural stone is one of the best materials for underfloor heating because it absorbs and radiates heat efficiently, keeping the room warm for longer.

Avoid supermarket bathroom cleaners, which are often acidic. Use a specialist pH-neutral stone cleaner (like Lithofin Easy-Care) to keep the stone looking its best without damaging the surface.

Dorzano is a beautiful sedimentary limestone, formed over millennia from layers of calcium carbonate and the shells of sea creatures. In this honed, diamond-sawn version the surface is smoothed to a soft, subtle sheen with clean, contemporary edges — while natural fissures and mineral detail keep every tile individual.

As a porous natural stone it must be sealed. Once protected, its warm neutral tones make a refined, hard-wearing floor for kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Sealing (essential): This is porous natural limestone. Seal with a quality impregnating stone sealer before grouting and again after laying, and reseal periodically to guard against staining.
Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a flexible white or natural stone adhesive and a soft, tonal grout. Avoid acidic or strongly cementitious grouts, which can mark limestone.
Cleaning: Sweep and mop with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Never use vinegar, bleach or abrasive products, which will etch and dull the stone.
