Part of the distinguished Dartmouth collection, Marbled Oak offers a refined take on the rustic aesthetic. Each plank is subtly smoked to draw out a palette of gentle greys, taupes, and muted browns, creating a "marbled" effect that is both calming and complex. The surface is meticulously hand-scraped and features distinct visible saw marks, giving the floor a rippled, time-worn texture that catches the light beautifully. Delivery

In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.

Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.

When your order arrives

Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.

Returns

To request a return, contact Hyperion within 14 days of delivery. For eligible online consumer cancellations, you have a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address; your statutory cancellation does not depend on our authorisation.

What is the wear layer?

It features a generous 4mm solid oak wear layer on top of a stable engineered core. This ensures the floor has the longevity of solid wood and can be sanded in the future if required (though sanding would remove the "beaten" texture).

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes, Woodpecker Flooring provides an exceptional 100-year warranty on this product, covering the structural integrity of the planks for a lifetime.

Is it suitable for pets?

Yes. The "Beaten" texture and Rustic grade make this floor incredibly forgiving. Scratches from pet claws tend to blend into the existing distressed character rather than standing out as damage.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes. Regular sweeping and a damp (not wet) mop with the appropriate Woodpecker cleaning solution is all that is needed. The oiled finish nourishes the wood and can be spot-repaired if necessary.

What colour is "Marbled Oak"?

Marbled Oak is defined by its subtly smoked, ashen tones. It isn't a flat grey or a standard brown; it swirls with greys, taupes, and muted oak hues, creating a complex, layered colour palette that resembles the variation found in natural stone or marble.

What makes the texture unique?

The texture is achieved through two processes: hand-scraping (creating gentle ripples) and saw marking (adding rough-sawn lines across the grain). This combination gives the floor a rugged, historic feel that is full of personality.

Is the plank wide?

Yes, this is a wide-plank floor. At 190mm wide, it is significantly broader than the standard 150mm Dartmouth plank (like the Beaten Oak), giving it a grander, more luxurious presence similar to the Stonehaven range.

Installation & Care Tips

⚠️ Installation & care

Installation Method: This versatile T&G board can be installed as a floating floor (gluing the joints), secret nailed to a wooden subfloor, or fully bonded to the screed.
Underfloor Heating: Compatible with UFH. To ensure stability and efficient heat transfer, the glue-down method is highly recommended.
Oiled Finish Care: The UV oil penetrates the wood to protect it. Regular cleaning with Woodpecker's specific oiled floor cleaner will nourish the timber and keep the "marbled" tones vibrant.
Rustic Character: This floor is "Extra Rustic." Expect significant colour variation, large knots, and filled cracks. The saw marks are a deliberate design feature intended to mimic the character of rough-sawn timber.
