A moulded 167 x 152mm left-hand corner that carries the skirting profile around an outward angle — the Artworks County White Skirting Left Hand Corner, from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

A tiled skirting only looks right if it turns corners as convincingly as it runs straight. This piece is moulded to take the profile around a projecting angle in one continuous glazed sweep, with no mitre to cut and no exposed edge to chip.

It is the left-hand of a pair; a projecting corner needs one of each. Supplied individually rather than by the box, so you can order exactly the number your run requires.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white flexible tile adhesive — a grey adhesive can shadow through the glaze — and grout in a soft off-white or warm putty tone, which sits more comfortably with County White's creaminess than a stark brilliant white.
Layout: Count the corners in your scheme and the number of courses each one turns, then order a piece for every course. Fit the corner pieces first and run the field tiles into them.
Cleaning: The gloss glaze is non-porous and needs no sealing. Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and acidic limescale removers, which will dull the surface over time.

Do I need the left or the right skirting corner?

Stand facing the external corner: if the skirting run approaches from your left, take the left-hand piece; if it approaches from the right, take the right. A projecting corner such as a boxed pipe or chimney breast needs one of each.

How are the skirting corners supplied?

Individually rather than by the box, so you can order exactly the number your run requires. Each measures 167 x 152mm and is glazed to match the Artworks County White skirting tile. Left and right hand versions are both available — a projecting corner needs one of each.

Will County White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same County White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and wrapping pieces are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

Can Artworks Brilliant White tiles be used in a shower or wet room?

Yes. Artworks is specified for both wet and dry wall areas, so it is at home in a shower enclosure, a wet room or around a bath. The background must be sound, dry and properly tanked, and a flexible waterproof adhesive and grout should be used throughout the wet zone.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. Cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom, or we can post one to you for the cost of postage. Seeing the glaze in your own light is the surest way to judge how it will sit against your paint, stone and metalwork.
