Turning the Skirting: Artworks Brilliant White Skirting Left External Corner

A purpose-made 167 x 152mm left-hand piece that carries a ceramic skirting run around an outside corner — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

A skirting run is at its most exposed where it turns a corner — it is the point a mop finds, a vacuum knocks and the eye lands. This dedicated corner takes the moulded profile round the angle in one glazed piece, so there is no vulnerable mitre and no unglazed cut edge at floor level.

It is the left-hand half of a handed pair; a projecting corner such as a boxed-in pipe or chimney breast needs one of each. Glazed in the same deep Brilliant White as the Artworks skirting tile and the wider range.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Adhesive & Grout: Fix with a white flexible tile adhesive, and seal the joint with the floor in flexible silicone rather than grout to allow for movement.
Layout: Fix the corners first and run the straight skirting into them, so the moulded profile lines up precisely on both faces.
Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water and a mild detergent; take care not to leave acidic cleaners standing in the profile at floor level.

Do I need the left or the right skirting corner?

Stand facing the external corner: if the skirting run approaches from your left, take the left-hand piece; if it approaches from the right, take the right. A projecting corner such as a boxed pipe or chimney breast needs one of each.

Individually rather than by the box, so you can order exactly the number your run requires. Each measures 167 x 152mm and is glazed to match the Artworks Brilliant White skirting tile.

Will Brilliant White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Brilliant White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. Cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom, or we can post one to you for the cost of postage. Seeing the glaze in your own light is the surest way to judge how it will sit against your paint, stone and metalwork.
