Carrying the Moulding Round: Artworks Brilliant White Albert Left External Corner

A purpose-made 165 x 40mm left-hand corner piece that turns the Albert moulding cleanly around an outside angle — from Hyperion Tiles, your official Original Style stockist.

A moulding run is only as convincing as its corners. Mitring a profiled ceramic piece on site is difficult and rarely looks right; this dedicated corner does the work instead, carrying the Albert profile round the angle in a single glazed piece with the detail unbroken.

Use it wherever a dado run meets a projecting corner — a chimney breast, a boxed pipe, a window reveal. It is the left-hand piece of a handed pair; a full external corner needs one left and one right. Glazed in the same deep Brilliant White as the Albert moulding itself.

⚠ Installation & Care Tips

Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible tile adhesive and grout to match the moulding run, keeping the profile clear of residue while the grout is workable.
Layout: Fix the corners first and run the straight moulding into them — setting out from the corner guarantees the profile lines up on both faces.
Cleaning: No sealing required. Warm water, a mild detergent and a soft brush for the stepped detail; avoid abrasive pads.

Do I need the left or the right Albert corner?

Stand facing the corner: if the moulding run approaches from your left and turns away, you need the left-hand piece; if it approaches from the right, you need the right. A projecting corner such as a chimney breast or boxed pipe needs one of each. Send us a photograph if you would like us to check.

How are the Albert external corners supplied?

Individually, one piece at a time rather than by the box, so you can order exactly the number your run requires. Each measures 165 x 40mm and is glazed to match the Artworks Brilliant White Albert moulding.

Will Brilliant White match across the different Artworks shapes and mouldings?

Every Artworks piece is finished in the same Brilliant White glaze, so field tiles, half tiles, mouldings, skirtings and corners are designed to be used together. As with any glazed ceramic there can be slight variation between production batches, so we recommend ordering everything for a scheme at the same time.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. Cut samples are free to collect from our Ascot showroom, or we can post one to you for the cost of postage. Seeing the glaze in your own light is the surest way to judge how it will sit against your paint, stone and metalwork.
