Lagoon Blue: Aquastyle Blue Macauba Glass Mosaic
Line a pool or lift a bathroom with the Aquastyle Blue Macauba glass mosaic from Hyperion Tiles.
Blue Macauba is the clearest, most classical of the Aquastyle blends — a true swimming-pool blue, blended across the sheet in tones that shift from pale to mid so the surface never reads flat. It is the colour most people picture when they picture a pool. The 2.5cm chips are set on a 31 x 46.7cm mesh-backed sheet.
This is a proper pool mosaic. Rated for swimming pool tanks as well as internal walls and floors and external walls, frostproof, and finished in a gloss glaze that holds its colour under constant immersion and UV. Glass carries its pigment within the body rather than in a surface layer, which is precisely why it belongs in water.

- Adhesive & Grout: Use a white flexible adhesive suitable for glass — anything grey or cement-coloured will read through the chips and dull the blue. For a pool or any surface under constant immersion, the adhesive and grout must be rated for continuous water contact; an epoxy grout is the usual specification.
- Layout Options: The blend is mixed within each sheet, so no shuffling is needed — but do set the sheets out dry first and check the joints line through, since these are unrectified and the sheet edge is where a mosaic run lives or dies.
- Cleaning: Clean with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Glass needs no sealing and will not stain or fade.
Samples
Tone, glaze and veining all read differently in your own light. Cut samples are free — sample postage is £4.99 (£8 for Original Style) and we refund it on tile orders over £50 with the code we email you. Our family-run team is happy to check quantities and finishes with you on 01344 620211.
Delivery
In-stock orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days, with express options available. Special-order and made-to-order ranges carry their own lead time, shown on the product page and confirmed when you order. Pallet, slab, large-format and bathware orders travel on a specialist off-load service — we confirm the timescale and book a date that suits you before dispatch.
Delivery is calculated at checkout from your order and postcode (we do not offer showroom collection) and UK delivery is free on orders over £1,000 on most ranges. For pallet deliveries please tell us about access issues in advance — low trees or bridges, narrow roads or gateways, gravel drives, or no turning or unloading space — as a re-delivery charge may apply if we cannot complete delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery as soon as it arrives. Once goods are unloaded they become the responsibility of the receiver, so if anything isn’t right, contact us within three working days and we’ll put it right quickly.
Returns
Unused, complete orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery; as tiles are picked and packed to your quantity, a restocking fee of 20–30% applies depending on the range. Special-order items are non-returnable unless damaged on delivery or faulty. Ordering a free sample first is the simplest way to avoid a return.

Once an order has been placed goods that are in stock, can normally be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware and sizeable orders is best carried out on one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales will be advised before any tiles are ordered.
