Do these travertine-effect tiles require sealing?

No. Unlike authentic natural travertine, which requires regular sealing to protect against moisture and stains, the Zahara Porcelain tiles are completely impervious. They act as a permanent barrier against spills and dirt, meaning they require absolutely no specialist sealing treatments either before or after installation.

Can I mix the mosaic tiles with the large rectangles?Absolutely.

Absolutely. The Arch and Bamboo mosaics share the exact same creamy, sandy-beige tones as the standard rectangular tiles. This makes them perfect for pairing together in the same room—for example, using the large 60x120cm tiles on the floor and the Arch mosaic to create a striking, textured feature wall inside the shower.

What does a "rectified" edge mean?

The rectangular tiles in the Zahara collection feature rectified edges. This means they have been mechanically cut or ground to an exact, precise size after the firing process. This uniformity allows your installer to lay the tiles with exceptionally narrow grout lines (typically around 2mm), resulting in a seamless, highly contemporary finish across your floor or wall.

Can I install these tiles with underfloor heating?

Yes. Porcelain is an excellent thermal conductor. The entire Zahara collection will efficiently absorb the heat from your electric or water-based underfloor heating system and slowly radiate it back into the room, creating wonderfully warm and comfortable floors throughout the colder months.
